2009 Georgia Fine Wine Festival

The 2nd annual Georgia Fine Wine Festival returns to BlackStock Vineyards and Winery. Reserve your tickets today! It's a weekend festival of the finest food, wine, music, and art found in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains.

Saturday, June 6th from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 7th from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This weekend event will feature a sampling of over 50 premium Georgia-grown wines and a bounty of culinary offerings from the finest restaurants of the region.

Headline music by The Kip Dockery Jazz Quartet featured on BlackStock's 2,000 square foot covered Pavilion.

An interesting array of local artists and demonstration crafts including pottery wheels, weavers, blacksmiths, sculptors, and more!

Over 50 fantastic Georgia-grown wines are yours for the tasting with your Passport Glass, great live jazz in our pavilion, folk and bluegrass throughout the grounds.

Come to BlackStock Vineyards and Winery for a fantastic weekend of wine, food and music - all with the beautiful North Georgia Mountains as your backdrop!

Valentines at BlackStock

Come join us from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Valentines' Day afternoon for wine and hors d'oeuvres in the lodge at BlackStock. The fire in the fireplace will be flickering as you and your sweetheart enjoy the mountain views and listen to soft music. This afternoon event will include an in-depth tour of BlackStock's cellar and a vineyard presentation by David Harris, owner. He will also guide you through the pairings of BlackStock wine and food. It will be the perfect start for an evening of fine dining in Dahlonega and the North Georgia mountains.

Georgia Fine Wine Festival 2009

It may be February but, don't forget the Georgia Fine Wine Festival, June 6 and 7th. We are putting together a festival full of wine tasting from the wineries in the Winegrowers Association of Georgia and food prepared by several of our finest local restaurants. Add to that, craft, folk and fine artists demonstrating their talents as they sell their wares. And what would a BlackStock event be without strolling musicians, dramatists and, of course, cool-hot jazz on the deck.

Wine Highway Weekend 2009

The Georgia Wine Highway Weekend, March 21 and 22 is the opening weekend of the spring wine tasting season. Purchase a glass at any one of the 10 members of the Winegrowers Association of Georgia's wineries and taste wine at all of them. We, at BSVW, have something special planned for all who linger at BlackStock for Saturday afternoon and evening.
